It will be the first spacecraft launched in India in 2022, the Hindu newspaper reported on Wednesday. The launch of the satellite should take place from the launch pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Center on the island of Sriharikota in the Bay of Bengal. PSLV C-52 with a launch weight of 1,170 kg will be launched into a sun-synchronous polar orbit with an altitude of 529 km. The satellite is designed for radar imaging and transmission of high-quality images of the earth's surface in the interests of the Indian Ministry of Agriculture.
